Raised on an Ashram in Southern Kentucky, Amira understands how music is a spiritual experience. A former "guru" to the likes of Richard Marx, Thomas Dolby, Rockwell, and all of Duran Duran, she became disillusioned with the way the world of music was headed. Then, on a vision quest to Tillamook, Oregon, her path crossed with Digger and Chaw, and they shared with her the story of Phöenyx. Inspired, she traveled to Los Angeles, and the rest we can say is Phöenyx history.
